Byron Bay Festival is bigger than ever this Easter - we'll be looking at some of the artists this month.....

A big month for festivals again! Stonnington Jazz, as well as the main PBSFM fundraiser for the year, the Radio Festival for the last 2 weeks of May. Sign up to the station to support our service, and get into the running for some great prizes too!
JUNE 11
many thanks to all who supported this programme during the 2011 Radio Festival - we are set fair for another year! Makes it all worth while.... and on the subject of thanks - muchos gracias to Perry for filling in while I had a great European sojourn May/June. we'll be hearing more of him on BC, I feel sure...
AUGUST 11
line up for the Wangaratta Jazz Festival is announced the first week of August. we'll be finding our favourite artists here on BC....
SEP/OCT 11
Kronos Quartet and Toumani Diabate are lined up for this year's Melbourne International Arts Festival - we'll be hearing their music during this period. plus Darebin Feast artists, plus more from the wangaratta jazz Festival line up....
NOVEMBER 11
the summer music programme in Australia seems to be bigger than ever this year - we'll be listening to some of the artists that will be winging their way southward over the season.....

time to start the review of what has been an exceptional year of new releases - great for under the xmas tree!
